Next stop: Jaipur

We arrived in Jaipur at 14th of January. We had hired a guide who showed us around the city. We went to see a couple of palaces and Amber Fort. The funniest part was probably the fact that we did some elephant riding to get to Amber Fort. A this point of the trip we were all pretty tired, so many of us chose to stay at the hotel the rest of the day, but me and a couple of other girls decided that we wanted to walk around the city. At this day the Indians were celebrating the Kite Festival, which meant that there were kites everywhere. On the top of City Palace a man from a local TV-station came and made an interview with me about the festival and filmed me flying a kite. Because of the festival many of the boutiques were closed, so what the three of us girls did was, that we got into a tuc tuc and asked the drivers to drive us somewhere where the shops are open. So he did, and we spent the rest of the day walking around and did a little shopping.
